Mr Jonathan Cowie is a consultant orthopaedic and trauma surgeon in Edinburgh, who specialises in hip replacement, knee replacement and arthritis, alongside knee arthroscopy, medicolegal work and joint replacement surgery. He privately practises at Spire Edinburgh Hospitals Murrayfield and Shawfair Park, while his NHS base is NHS Fife. He also is expert in hip revision surgery, and manages a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including osteoarthritis, sports injuries, and soft tissue injuries.
Mr Cowie has an BM BS from the University of Nottingham (2002) and completed his orthopaedic training in Edinburgh, where he developed a strong interest in lower limb surgery.
