Dr Katherine Miszkiel is a highly respected and experienced consultant neuroradiologist, possessing over 30 years of experience, based in London. She offers a wide range of diagnostic scans and tests, focusing primarily on Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), including head MRI, spine MRI and orbital MRI, alongside head and spine CT, orbital CT and dacryocystogram.
Dr Miszkiel obtained her primary medical degree from the University of Southampton, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine (BM) with distinction in Clinical Medicine in 1988. Upon completion of her medical studies, she began training at Guy's Hospital, before undertaking radiology training at The Middlesex and University College Hospitals, London, subsequently specialising in neuroradiology at The National Hospital, The Royal London and Great Ormond Street Hospital For Sick Children.
Over the span of her 35-year career, several of her research works have been published in peer-reviewed journals, including the prestigious New England Journal of Medicine and she has been the co-author of multiple book chapters.
Alongside her devotion to research, Dr Miszkiel is committed to medical education, teaching students of the Advanced Neuroimaging MSc programme at University College London, as well as lecturing at national medical conferences. She has held the position of the training programme director for the renowned Pan-London Neuroradiology Training programme for more than a decade.
Dr Miszkiel is also a member of several medical organisations, including The British Society of Neuroradiology (BSNR) and The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR).
