Dr Kiran Kancherla is a highly-skilled clinical oncologist in the Midlands region. He specialises in the early and advanced treatment of breast cancer and prostate cancer, and treatments such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy (including stereotactic, image-guided, and intensity-modulated radiotherapies), immunotherapy, and targeted therapy.
Dr Kancherla qualified from the University of Health Sciences in 1997 and completed his registrar training in Leeds, where he gained experience in various modalities of cancer treatment, including endocrine therapy and biological agents. He became a member of the Royal College of Physicians in 2004, and in 2009 was made a fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists. He was qualified as an oncologist in 2010 after training in Leeds.
Dr Kancherla prioritises personalised and multidisciplinary approaches to treatment. In addition to his practice, he has been an investigator in several national and international clinical trials, has several publications in peer-reviewed cancer journals, and has contributed to abstracts which have been presented at both national and international conferences.
