Dr Lucio D'Anna is a highly reputable consultant neurologist in London who specialises in dementia, Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, neurological disorders and stroke. He is part of Dementech Neurosciences, a unique private clinic made up of some of the world's best specialists in the fields of dementia, movement disorders, neurology and mental health.
He achieved his doctor of medicine qualification at the University of Udine in his native Italy in 2009, before moving to London, where he gained entry to the GMC specialist register. In 2015, he was awarded the International Scolarship Award by the American Academy of Neurology. He later completed a PhD in clinical neuroscience at King's College London and received the award for best PhD paper.
Dr D'Anna is extremely passionate about research and education, he is an honorary senior lecturer at the Division of Brain Sciences, Imperial College London and has seen his work published in renowned peer-reviewed publications like "Brain: A Journal of Neurology". He is currently involved early phase clinical trials and establishing new diagnostic equipment and therapies for the management of stroke and dementia.
