Dr Michal Ajzensztejn is a leading consultant in paediatric diabetes and endocrinology in London, who specialises in diabetes and growth disorders. She privately practises at at Evelina London Children's Hospital, part of Guy's and St Thomas' Specialist Care, and her NHS base is Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.
Dr Ajzensztejn has significant medical leadership experience, and was Evelina London Children's Hospital's lead for paediatric endocrinology from 2015 to 2020. She also headed up the paediatric diabetes department for nine years (2015 to 2024). She is highly qualified, and was awarded a Bachelor of Medicine and a first class honours BSc in Psychology (Intercalated) from the University of Southampton's medical school. Dr Ajzensztejn then went on to receive the International Society for Paediatric and Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD) Clinical Reward award in 2011, and her specialist training in endocrinology and diabetes took place at world-renowned centres including Great Ormond Street Hospital, University College Hospital London and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
