Mr Nicholas Brownson

Mr Nicholas Brownson is a consultant spinal surgeon in Glasgow, who specialises in sciatica, spinal stenosis and neck pain, alongside lumbar decompression surgery, cervical disc replacement and back pain. He privately practises at Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital, while his NHS base is NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.

Mr Brownson completed his specialist orthopaedic training in the West of Scotland Orthopaedic Training Programme after obtaining his medical degree from the University of Dundee in 2003. He then undertook a Specialist Advisory Committee (SAC)-approved spinal fellowship in Sheffield, gaining expertise in both adult and paediatric spinal surgery.

Mr Brownson primarily focuses on elective spinal surgery within the NHS while continuing to participate in general orthopaedic trauma care.
