Dr Shane Roche is an esteemed consultant in general (internal) medicine and specialist in geriatric medicine, providing expert care and attention to patients aged 65+ with mild cognitive impairment (MCI), stroke and Parkinson's alongside Alzheimer's disease, memory disorders and dementia. He privately practices at St John & St Elizabeth Hospital, The Clementine Churchill Hospital, Cromwell Hospital and King Edward VII's Hospital, while his NHS base is Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

Dr Roche's clinical research, particularly in Parkinson's and dementia, has been published in various peer-reviewed articles, and he's a member of several professional organisations including the Movement Disorder Society, British Geriatrics Society and the British Medical Association. He's also a member (MRCP) and fellow (FRCP) of the Royal College of Physicians London.
