Dr Shehram Moghul is a highly experienced consultant psychiatrist with more than 20 years of expertise in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of memory disorders and dementia. Practising at Re:Cognition Health Winchester, he has dedicated his career to supporting patients with cognitive impairment, providing expert, evidence-based care for individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.
Alongside his private practice, he has continued to care for patients within the NHS since his first substantive consultant appointment in Southampton in 2003.
Dr Moghul has a particular interest in the latest disease-modifying treatments for Alzheimer's disease. He is among the early UK specialists to offer monoclonal antibody therapies, including donanemab and lecanemab, having first introduced these treatments at Re:Cognition Health's London clinic in 2025.
He now leads the delivery of these innovative therapies as the lead treating consultant at the newly established Re:Cognition Health Winchester clinic, helping eligible patients access the latest advances in Alzheimer's care.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Moghul plays an important role in maintaining standards within the medical profession. He serves as an examiner for both the General Medical Council and the Royal College of Psychiatrists, reflecting his extensive experience and recognised expertise in psychiatry. His commitment to clinical excellence, education and the adoption of emerging treatments ensures that patients benefit from the highest standards of modern psychiatric and memory care.
