Dr Simon Smail

Dr Simon Smail is a dedicated GP based in Edinburgh and co-founder of Evergreen Medical and Wellness Clinic. He specialises in lifestyle medicine, preventative health, and minor surgery, with additional expertise in men’s health and occupational medicine. Dr Smail graduated with an MBChB from the University of Edinburgh in 2005 and holds further qualifications including an MSc with distinction and a postgraduate certificate in medical education. He is also a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and an experienced GP trainer.

Dr Smail brings over a decade of clinical experience to his role. His broad training allows him to manage a wide range of conditions within general practice, from acute presentations to long-term health planning. Alongside his general practice work, he has a particular interest in minor surgery, offering patients timely access to procedures such as the treatment of skin lesions, cysts and ingrown toenails in a safe and well-equipped clinical setting.
