Miss Smita Sinha is a consultant gynaecologist in Taunton, who specialises in menopause, perimenopause and HRT, alongside benign vulval disease, endometrial biopsy, hysteroscopy, vulval biopsy and lichen sclerosus. She privately practises at Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital and Serenity Women's Clinic, and has significant NHS experience in gynaecology and obstetrics.

There. she supported the training and pastoral care of postgraduate doctors returning to clinical practice, and was an educational supervisor for doctors in training.
Miss Sinha regularly shares her expertise through public education and professional events. She has delivered presentations and talks on menopause and vulval health at a range of meetings, local and national events, including Pause live, Every Woman Festival, South West GP Symposium and at menopause education sessions for support groups and organisations. These activities reflect her commitment to improving awareness and understanding of women’s health issues.
Her contributions to clinical practice and education have been recognised with several awards. She was named Educational Supervisor of the Year at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust in 2020 and has also been recognised in the Tatler Beauty & Cosmetic Surgery Guide, receiving the Rising Star in Intimate Health Services award in 2025 and being listed among the Top 40 Doctors in 2026. Miss Sinha is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, the British Menopause Society and the British Society for the Study of Vulval Disease.
