Dr Ting Seng Tang

Dr Ting Seng Tang is a consultant paediatric dermatologist in Tollerton, Nottingham, with specialist expertise in paediatric dermatology, eczema and psoriasis, alongside acne, rosacea, cutaneous allergy, skin cancer and mole checks. He sees patients privately at Spire Nottingham Hospital, while his NHS base is Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust as a consultant dermatologist and consultant paediatric dermatologist.

Dr Tang provides comprehensive assessment and management of a wide range of skin conditions, with further interest in atopic eczema, cutaneous allergy, connective tissue disorders and complex medical dermatology. His practice also includes teledermatology services. He takes an evidence-based approach to care, ensuring that treatment plans are tailored to each patient’s clinical needs and circumstances.

He graduated in medicine from the University of London in 2008 and completed specialist dermatology training in the East Midlands, receiving his Certificate of Completion of Training in Dermatology in 2017. During his training, he worked as an Academic Clinical Fellow at the Centre of Evidence Based Dermatology, developing a strong research background alongside his clinical practice. In recognition of his work in digital innovation, he was awarded the Topol Digital Fellowship for transforming digital services in the NHS.

Alongside his clinical work, Dr Tang holds several leadership and educational roles. He is head of service for outpatients within the Ambulatory Division at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and a committee member of the Trust’s Medical Advisory Committee. He is also a clinical educator and dermatology teaching lead at the University of Nottingham, with a longstanding interest in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.

Dr Tang has published widely in peer-reviewed journals, including high-impact publications on atopic eczema and related conditions. He is a member of the British Association of Dermatologists and the Royal College of Physicians, and remains actively involved in service development, research and education to support high-quality dermatology care.

Dr Tang is fluent in English, Chines (Mandarin, Taiwanese and, to some degree, Cantonese).
