Migraine specialists in Edgbaston

Algocells is a ground-breaking regenerative orthopaedic service with two practicing clinics in Birmingham and Chelsea, London. It's led by expert anaesthesia and pain medicine consultants Dr Martynas Juozaitis and Dr Zbigniew M Kirkor who perform stem cell and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatments. Algocell's clinics opened in May 2018, making it the first Regenexx provider in the UK. Regenexx medical treatments, which is widely offered in the USA, uses the body's natural healing ability to non-surgically repair damage to bones, muscles, cartilage, tendons, and ligaments. Their stem-cell treatment is a quick procedure, too. Done in a day, using the on-site laboratory, stem cells are extracted from the patient's bone marrow and a concentrated dose of cells will be injected precisely into the damaged area, enhancing the body's natural healing mechanisms. Algocell's Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) treatment is commonly utilised for soft-tissue injuries, mild arthritis and spine conditions. Administered via injection, the concentrated dose of growth factors from the patient´s blood assist stem cell activity as they work to repair damaged tissue at the site of injury. Algocell is Regenexx certified for patented procedures on the spine, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, hips, knees and ankles. The team's supportive and friendly manner combined with expert treatment of the founding specialists at the practice aim to significantly enhance the quality of life of patients with pain in these areas.
