Review Guidelines

To maintain the integrity and usefulness of reviews, we do not allow the following types of content:

Advertising and spam: Any content that is promotional, self-promotional, or deemed irrelevant will be removed.
Offensive or inappropriate language: Disrespectful, defamatory comments or those containing any form of violence will not be tolerated.
False or misleading information: Reviews must be 100% truthful and based on real experiences.
Impersonation and anonymity issues: Only real patients (or their accredited caregivers/guardians) can leave reviews. If a false identity is used, or someone is impersonated to leave a comment, it will be immediately removed.
Medical complaints or reports of possible negligence: If you suspect possible malpractice, negligence, or a medical error that puts patient safety at risk, please report it to the appropriate authorities rather than commenting in a review.

Review and Moderation Process

All reviews submitted to Top Doctors UK go through a review/moderation process to ensure compliance with our guidelines. Reviews may undergo a double review if:

They contain inappropriate or offensive language.
There is suspicion that they are part of a coordinated campaign, either in favour of or against a professional, to defame them.
There are indications that the review is not truthful or related to a case involving a legal complaint.

If a review is deemed to require in-depth examination, it will be evaluated to determine whether it should be approved, modified, or rejected.

Reporting a Review

If you believe that a review violates our policy, you can notify us for it to be reviewed. We take these reports seriously and are committed to investigating them properly.
