Nipple-sparing mastectomy: don’t lose yourself
Mastectomy is surgery to remove cancerous tissue from the breast. In a nipple-sparing mastectomy, the nipple and as much skin as possible is left so the patient can have a natural-looking breast, in so far as it is possible following surgery.
