Understanding the P-Shot® for erectile dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a common condition in when a man struggles to achieve or maintain an a firm erection throughout the intimate relationship . A new non surgical option of good success is the P‑Shot®, also known as the Priapus Shot. This procedure uses autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) drawn from the patient’s own blood, with the aim of stimulating neovasculogenesis & new tissue regeneration, thus more specific in  improving erectile function. What is the P‑Shot®, and how does it work?

The P‑Shot® involves taking a sample of the patient’s blood, spinning it in a centrifuge to obtain PRP, and then being injected by highly experienced specialist a into targeted areas of the penis. PRP contains growth factors and body healing cells that encourage new blood vessel formation (angiogenesis), enhance collagen production, stimulate tissue repair, and may even improve nerve regeneration.

What happens during a P‑Shot® session?

Should I get the P-Shot®?

The P‑Shot® offers a minimally invasive, autologous treatment aimed at improving erectile function by enhancing tissue repair, circulation, and sensation. It can be offered to all men with erectile dysfunction but only after assessment to determine the number of sessions required to deal with the cause of ED. The only unmeasurable factor is the individual body response to the call of regeneration. About 30% of men could be “poor responders” even after completing the standard course of three sessions.
