Mount Alvernia Hospital, part of Circle Health Group, has been treating patients in the Guildford area for almost 90 years, providing outpatient, day-case and inpatient services across a range of specialities including orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, women’s health, gastroenterology, gynaecology and dermatology. The hospital has 60 beds over five wards, three theatres, 15 consulting rooms and an ambulatory care unit which includes two Theatres for minor surgery. Mount Alvernia’s private GPs are also based in the hospital; they offer 30-minute appointments and can easily refer onward to expert specialists, as well as for tests, scans and physiotherapy should patients require them.
