Mr Aadil Mumith is an experienced consultant orthopaedic specialist knee surgeon based in Hampshire and Berkshire. After graduating from University College London Medical School in 2008, Mr Mumith completed his postgraduate training in London and Hampshire. During his training, he undertook research at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, and was awarded a prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of England Research Fellowship. His research led to a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from University College London, focusing on advancements in implant technology.
Following his UK specialist training, Mr Mumith was selected for a Lower Extremity Reconstruction Fellowship at the University of Toronto under the Schatzker Joint Preservation Initiative, where he gained experience in one of North America’s highest-volume units. He then completed a second fellowship in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, a European centre of excellence, where he started his consultant career. His pioneering work in limb realignment and 3D-printed implant technology has received international recognition.
Alongside his clinical work, Mr Mumith is committed to research and education. He is an Honorary Assistant Professor at the University of Central Florida, a principal investigator in multiple multicentre studies, and a consultant for the medtech sector. He has published widely, serves as an editor for various medical texts, and trains other surgeons as faculty on internationally renowned courses.
