- This was my second aortic valve replacement Mr Abdelbar being in theatre on both occasions 14yrs apart and the second one being lead cardiologist, from my first meeting in February everything went smooth all the tests needed and communication was first class. From entertaining wythenshawe hospital on the 23rd April to being discharged on the 29th April the surgery and aftercare was exceptional i just hope the recovery goes as smooth
