Professional statement
Mr Alexander Cho is a consultant paediatric urologist at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children (GOSH), specialising in the assessment and treatment of urological conditions affecting babies, children and young people. He also provides private paediatric urology consultations in London.
His practice covers a broad range of paediatric urological conditions, including urinary tract infections (UTIs), undescended testes, foreskin problems and phimosis, hypospadias, hydronephrosis, vesicoureteric reflux, bladder problems, daytime wetting and bedwetting, and kidney and urinary tract stones.
Mr Cho has particular expertise in minimally invasive paediatric urology, including keyhole surgery and endourology, alongside open and reconstructive surgery. He has a specialist interest in paediatric kidney stone disease, working within a multidisciplinary approach that combines urological assessment and imaging with nephrology input and metabolic investigation where appropriate.

He graduated in medicine from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Medical School in 2004 and also holds a Master’s degree in Medical Education.
