Dr Ali Jamil Abd

Dr Ali Jamil Abd is a leading family medicine consultant and leading general practitioner in London, specialising in diabetes, high cholesterol and hypertension alongside knee joint injections, carpal tunnel injections and pre-employment health assessments. He currently privately practises at TIC Health Harley Street and TIC Health The Hive.

Dr Abd has worked extensively in the NHS and private sectors, with over 27 years of experience both in the UK and internationally. He earned his MBChB degree from Baghdad University in 1997 and began his career with three years of service in various hospitals in Baghdad, Iraq.

Dr Abd then moved to Amman, Jordan, where he worked in an Urgent Care Centre before relocating to the UK. Here, he gained valuable experience across multiple clinical specialties, including Emergency Medicine, Acute General Medicine and Geriatrics. He holds the MRCGP (Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners, UK).

Passionate about the integration of medical technology and digital health solutions, Dr Abd recently completed a course on Digital Transformation and Innovation in Healthcare at Imperial Business School. Alongside his clinical work, he obtained an MSc in Medical Genetics from London Metropolitan University and served as a research fellow with the Medical Research Council and Brighton University.
