However, my experience with this particular doctor was disappointing: I did not receive an appointment confirmation email, the doctor was very late, and his attitude was unkind and dismissive.Doctor's response -I am writing in response to your feedback. I am very sorry for your experience last Friday. Due to the urgency of your referral on Thursday evening and my secretary's absence, it was not possible to send you an appointment letter. I contacted you personally beforehand and explained this to you. On the day of your appointment, you were not in the waiting area at the scheduled time and I understand that you had gone to the radiology department instead. The next patient was therefore taken in the room by the time you had arrived and this was the reason for the delay. When I called you in the room, you were in a rush to get back to the radiology department as you were told that the radiologist will be leaving soon. You asked for the ultrasound request. As we had not met before and I needed to assess you myself before requesting a test, I insisted on a brief consultation and an examination prior to sending you to radiology. I apologise that you felt I was unkind. That was certainly not my intention.
