Mr Amit Patel is a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon in Staffordshire, who specialises in hips and knees including conditions such as sports injuries, degenerative joint disease and inflammatory arthritis. He treats knee pain, instability, stiffness, locking, giving way and swelling. He achieved his membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2006 and completed his surgical training in 2007.
Mr Patel entered higher surgical training on The Stoke/ Oswestry Orthopaedic Training program. In 2013 he became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and proceeded to do a fellowship at the Exeter knee reconstruction unit.

- Mr Patel was outstanding in clinic today. I was informed, listened to and made to feel at ease! I would definitely recommend Mr Patel.
- Mr Patel was very supportive and professional with my shy 16 year old son , who had suffered a knee injury . He put him and ease and explained everything easily for Owen to understand. The advice and support he gave was very much appreciated. Happy to recommend Mr Patel to any other friends or colleagues.
- Very caring and knowledgeable surgeon. Great communication skills and I’m back on the football field again!
