Mr Anshul Sobti is a consultant adult and paediatric orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in hip replacement, knee replacement and partial knee replacement, alongside knee arthroscopy, meniscal injury treatment, paediatric orthopaedics, limb alignment surgery and paediatric orthopaedic fractures. He privately practises at the Syon Clinic, Bishops Wood Hospital, The Clementine Churchill Hospital, Hendon Hospital; all part of Circle Health Group, alongside the New Victoria Hospital, and One Stop Healthcare Cromwell Hospital and Bupa Health Care Canary Wharf. His NHS base is The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Committed to providing exceptional care, he treats patients of all ages, from children to young adults and those suffering from advanced arthritis. Mr Sobti earned his medical degree in Mumbai, India, where he also completed his core orthopaedic training and fellowship at P D Hinduja National Hospital. To further enhance his experience and training, he undertook fellowships in the UK at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore, and Chelsea Westminster Hospital in London.
He is fellowship-trained in complex trauma, hip and knee replacement, and paediatric orthopaedics. Currently, he serves as the trauma director at Hillingdon Hospital and leads clinical governance for the orthopaedic service. Mr Sobti advocates for a patient-centred approach and emphasises shared decision-making.
His areas of expertise also include sports injuries, keyhole knee surgeries (repairing/removing meniscus), patellar surgery, joint preservation surgery and robotic joint replacement. He addresses paediatric conditions affecting the upper and lower limbs, including issues related to the hips, knees, feet, and ankles. Additionally, he specialises in limb deformities in children, and gait disorders.
Furthermore, he is the lead for the Orthopaedic Module and Musculoskeletal Block for medical students at Brunel Medical School based at Hillingdon Hospital. Mr Sobti has presented at numerous national and international scientific conferences and has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals.
