Dr Arindam Das

Dr Arindam Das is a highly skilled consultant paediatrician with extensive expertise in general paediatrics, paediatric gastroenterology, and allergy. He completed his primary medical education and postgraduate paediatric training in India before advancing his studies and qualifications in the UK, mainly in the East of England (Cambridge) and London.

Throughout his career, Dr Das has earned numerous awards and gold medals recognizing his academic and professional excellence in both India and the UK. In 2015, he was honoured with the prestigious Young Investigator Award from the European Gastroenterology Society. He has also completed certification courses in paediatric neurology, enhancing his ability to deliver comprehensive care.

Dr Das is dedicated to improving paediatric healthcare, demonstrated by his participation in webinars both as speaker and as delegate - for the Royal College of Paediatrics, his work on guidelines and information leaflets for paediatric medicines, and his active role in MRCPCH examinations for paediatric trainees. He is a member of various advisory groups, including the National Motility Group for Children, and represents paediatrics on the Medicine Optimisation Committee in Mid and South Essex, a multidisciplinary forum focused on informed medication decisions. Additionally, Dr Das is a certified resuscitation instructor for newborns, committed to maintaining the highest standards of care for the most vulnerable patients.
