Mr Arjun Shankar is a distinguished consultant general surgeon based in London. Specialising in a variety of upper and lower GI surgical procedures, his expertise includes gastrointestinal endoscopy, sarcoma, pancreatitis, hernia, abdominal wall reconstruction, and gallbladder surgery.
Mr Shankar qualified in medicine at the University of London in 1990 before undergoing surgical training at a range of esteemed institutions including The Middlesex, University College and Hammersmith Hospitals. He completed extensive research in the development of colorectal liver metastases, for which he was awarded an MD. Mr Shankar is also an appointed fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons.
