Dr Ash Kalra

Dr Ash Kalra is a specialist in orthodontics in London, with expertise in Invisalign, braces, and invisible braces, alongside paediatric orthodontics, mandibular advancement devices, aesthetic orthodontics and interceptive orthodontic treatment. He privately practises at Holford Partners Curaden Dental Clinic, Dental Rooms Wimbledon and Happy Kids Dental Marylebone.

Dr Kalra, who provides orthodontic care for both children and adults, with a focus on accurate diagnosis, careful treatment planning and predictable outcomes, covers a wide range of orthodontic treatments, including conventional braces and clear aligner systems, tailored to each patient’s functional and aesthetic needs.

Dr Kalra completed his undergraduate dental training at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, qualifying in 2014. After a period in general dental practice, he undertook further training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at King’s College Hospital. He went on to gain experience across paediatric dentistry, restorative dentistry and oral surgery at the Edinburgh Dental Institute, as well as paediatric cleft dentistry at Evelina Children’s Hospital in London.

Furthermore, he has worked in private practice in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia, and also worked in the craniofacial orthodontics department at New York University.

He completed three years of specialist orthodontic training at King’s College London, where he obtained an MSc in Orthodontics and the Intercollegiate Membership in Orthodontics (IMOrth) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Primary Dental Care from the University of Kent and is a qualified Invisalign provider.

Alongside his clinical work, Dr Kalra is involved in academic activity and professional development. He's authored several articles published in national and international journals and has presented his work in the UK and abroad. He's a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, the Higher Education Academy, the World Federation of Orthodontists and the American Association of Orthodontists. In 2025, he was shortlisted for London’s Best Young Dentist.
