Mr Billy Jowett is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in the foot and ankle based on the south coast in Portsmouth, Southampton and Chichester. His areas of expertise include bunion surgery, sports injuries of the foot and ankle, flat feet and arthritis.
After graduating from Guy's and St Thomas' Medical School in 1996, he completed his basic surgical training and orthopaedic training in the Wessex area. In the early years of his career, he was awarded several fellowships, taking him to Seattle, USA, Auckland, New Zealand and Melbourne, Australia, to name but a few. Throughout these fellowships, Mr Jowett worked with world leaders in the field of foot and ankle surgery.

- Extremely positive experience at my appointment. Mr Jowett could not have been more caring or understanding. He is working to try and sort my issue as best he can.
- Never had an operation before, the whole experience from start to finish was amazing, professional and straight forward. Mr. Jowett is very knowledgeable and informative, he along with the aneithatist and the other members of staff made for an all around top quality experience.

- Mr. Jowett diagnosed my post-fracture ankle pain as an OCD lesion using MRI and CT. After a complex arthroscopy, the change has been incredible — I can run again and continue my sports career. I’m extremely grateful to him and his team for their expertise.
- I'd have liked to have given the Dr. 4.5 stars, but this was not available! I did have to wait quite a while after my appointment time which was not a problem for me and I would not have complained.

- Mr Jowett's (Achilles Tendon) knowledge is second to none, he explained the options available and subject to viewing an Ultra Sound (to be arranged) will advise as to most beneficial treatment. In the meantime, he personally arranged and explained the use of Vaco Pad boot.
- Fantastic Support and Advice, felt listened to and all questions answered. The result has been being able to be pain free and go back to being able to do things that I used to do.
