Dr Carla Binenbojm

Dr Carla Binenbojm is a leading dermatology specialist based in London, currently practising at the Oval Medical Centre. With over three decades of experience, she provides expert care in acne, eczema, hair loss (alopecia), psoriasis, and paediatric dermatology. Known for her compassionate manner and meticulous attention to detail, Dr Binenbojm combines advanced dermatological knowledge with a holistic approach, ensuring that every patient receives individualised, evidence-based treatment designed to improve both skin health and overall well-being.

Dr Binenbojm earned her medical degree from the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) before completing a Master’s degree in Dermatology at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, graduating with the highest distinction. She went on to obtain a Diploma in Dermatology from Queen Mary University of London, where she was awarded Best Student of the Year for her exceptional academic performance and dissertation on Guttate Psoriasis. Her professional journey has spanned state and university hospitals as well as private clinics, including twelve years running her own dermatology practice in Brazil prior to moving to the UK. She is a member of the Brazilian Society of Dermatology and progressing towards membership with the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology.
