Miss Caroline McGuiness is a highly experienced consultant plastic and reconstructive surgeon, based in Salisbury. With over 30 years of experience, she specialises in a wide range of procedures, including abdominoplasties, breast augmentations and reductions, breast asymmetry treatments, arm lifts and blepharoplasties.
Miss McGuiness currently runs a private clinic at the New Hall Hospital in Salisbury. She also has extensive experience as an NHS consultant surgeon, along with previously running a number of different private clinics. In addition to her expertise in cosmetic surgery, Miss McGuiness also specialises in reconstructive procedures, including hand, congenital hand and nerve surgery. She has extensive experience in surgical procedures on both children’s and adult hands.
Miss McGuiness graduated with an MBBS from the King’s College School of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of London in 1990. She went on to receive her FRCS in 1995, before later training as a plastic surgeon, receiving her FRCS (Plast) in 2006. Since qualifying, Miss McGuiness has become one of the most well-renowned plastic surgeons in her field.
When she is not treating patients, Miss McGuiness also carries out medical research. Several of her medical articles have been published in peer-reviewed journals. She has been recognised for her excellence with a number of awards, including awards from Salisbury District Hospital for Research, Teaching and Service Development. Miss McGuiness is a member of the British Medical Association and the British Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.
