Dr Christopher Hayes is a leading consultant cardiologist based in York, practising at Spire Leeds Hospital, Nuffield Health York Hospital, and The Duchy Hospital. He specialises in electrophysiology and complex device implantation, with particular expertise in the management of syncope, atrial fibrillation, and dysrhythmias. Dr Hayes is also experienced in the treatment of heart failure, including the use of pacemakers and advanced pacing techniques, and regularly assesses patients with breathlessness and other related symptoms.
Dr Hayes graduated with a MUDr degree in 1998 from Charles University in Prague. He went on to complete specialist training in cardiology and electrophysiology in Oxford, followed by a fellowship in Bournemouth, further refining his expertise in complex arrhythmia management. He also spent time training at a renowned electrophysiology centre in Dublin, gaining valuable international experience.
