Mr Christos Moraitis

Mr Christos Moraitis is a highly experienced and qualified consultant paediatric ophthalmologist who specialises in dry eye, astigmatism, eye floaters, myopia, blepharitis, and double vision. He is practising at the Kingston Hospital at present. Mr Moraitis provides care for both children and adults with neurological conditions involving/affecting the eye.

Mr Moraitis, who obtained his first medical qualification in 2001 after successfully completing an MBBS, is also highly specialised in lazy eye, conjunctivitis, amblyopia, eyelid cysts, uveitis, and eyelid lumps and bumps. He is the current neuro-ophthalmology lead at Kingston Hospital, a position that he has held since 2021. 

Mr Moraitis, who was a previous fellow in paediatric ophthalmology at the Great Ormond Street Hospital and fellow in paediatric ophthalmology and adult neuro-ophthalmology at the Moorfields Eye Hospital, has published an extensive amount of highly informative, research-based articles that have been published in various esteemed peer-reviewed journals and publications. 

Mr Moraitis also has additional expertise when it comes to optic nerve problems such as optic neuritis, optic neuropathy, optic atrophy, nystagmus, cerebral visual impairment, unequal pupil size, unexplained visual loss, and eye problems relating to brain damage.
