Mr David Bodansky

Mr David Bodansky is an expert hand and wrist orthopaedic surgeon who focuses on understanding how your problem affects you. He aims to get you back to your normal life, hobbies, and sports as swiftly as possible.

Mr Bodansky ranked first in Europe for hand and wrist surgery in the European Hand Diploma, the exam most consultant surgeons specialising in hand surgery sit. He is an expert in both orthopaedic and plastic surgery problems of the hand and wrist.

Specialising in surgical and non-surgical treatments of the hand and wrist for both adults and children, Mr Bodansky treats over 3,000 patients a year, of whom 500 undergo surgery, meaning most are treated successfully without surgery. He trained in orthopaedics in Liverpool, London, and North America, including fellowship training at Great Ormond Street, Wrightington Hospital, East Grinstead Hospital, and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. Mr Bodansky is also dual speciality trained for plastic surgery treatments pertaining to hand and wrist related issues.

During his medical training, he won over thirty prizes and represented the British Hand Society, teaching about hand injuries in Ethiopia. This year, he won the ‘I Want Great Care’ Certificate of Excellence, voted by patients and colleagues for delivering outstanding care.
