Mr Deepak Gupta is a consultant ENT surgeon in Swindon with more than 20 years of professional expertise. He provides private and NHS ENT (ear, nose and throat) services to both adult and paediatric patients at the BMI The Ridgeway Hospital.

Apart from his clinical interests, he is involved in training, the introduction of patient-friendly initiatives and clinical research. In fact, in 2011 he was awarded Best Article of the Year by the Journal of Laryngology & Otology (JLO).
In addition, Mr Gupta has been in senior leadership positions, having served on the South West Senate and as the director of medical education for many years. He is also the founder-director of the Higher Education Leadership and Management programme (HELM). Since 2018, he has been a deputy lord lieutenant of Wiltshire.
