Professor Constantinos (Dinos) Missouris is a mastered consultant cardiologist in the London, Berkshire, and Buckinghamshire, specialising in coronary heart disease, heart failure, arrhythmia, hypertension, with a particular interest in cardiovascular disease prevention and treatment. Currently, Professor Missouris is practising at his private clinics around the London areas, as well as with the Frimley NHS Trust.
Upon receiving his medical qualification from the University of London in 1986, he continued his specialised training in London and other international locations. Professor Missouris received training in 3-dimensional echocardiography at the Columbia Presbyterian Centre in New York, USA, and at the Klinikum Steglitz, Free University of Berlin, Germany. In 1996, Professor Missouris received his MD from the University of London.
Professor Missouris was shortly after appointed as a consultant cardiologist at the Frimley NHS Foundation Trust, where he continues to practice. His private cardiology practice takes on a wide array of cardiac conditions and procedures. The approach Professor Missouris takes is based on a non-invasive side of medicine. In order to achieve the initial diagnosis, he prefers to carry out cardiac investigations using the latest and most advanced echocardiographs, exercise (treadmill) tolerance tests, and 24-hours ECG blood pressure monitoring.

Professor Missouris dedicated himself to research during his speciality training, but has also continued to do so up to present. His current research interested include cardiovascular pathophysiology and disease processes, hypertension and other risk factor management, heart failure, arrhythmias, new modalities assessment of cardiac structure and function; pathophysiology, assessment, and treatment of COVID-19.
He has made clinical and scientific presentations in the UK, Australia, USA, and Europe, with more than 130 publications in peer-reviewed journals globally. Professor Missouris is an accomplished lecturer, and makes regular contributions to national and international postgraduate and academic meetings to future cardiologists.
