Dr Edwin Ugoh is a Consultant Psychiatrist, practising at Lily House and Priory Hospital Chelmsford, who specialises in General Adult and Addiction Psychiatry.
He completed his core and higher specialist psychiatry training in London and Hertfordshire, and was then awarded his membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. He obtained a Master’s degree in Psychiatric Practice from the University of Hertfordshire in 2010.
Dr Ugoh is also a Clinical Director at the Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. His extensive contribution to Psychiatry over the years has been recognised with Fellowship of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
Dr Ugoh has expertise in the assessment and management of a wide range of mental health conditions, including bipolar disorder, clinical depression, schizophrenia, alcohol addiction, substance misuse, addiction, and anxiety disorder.
He also has significant experience in the management of the following conditions:
- ADHD
- Dual diagnosis
- Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
- Seasonal affective disorder (SAD)
