Miss Eleni Vrizidou is a highly skilled and dedicated consultant ophthalmologist based in London, practising at the London Lauriston Clinic and Queen’s Hospital PPU. She specialises in uveitis (anterior and posterior) and medical retina, with particular expertise in the assessment and management of retinal disease, glaucoma, red eye, dry eye disease and other common ophthalmic conditions. Her clinical approach is thorough and patient-centred, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality specialist and general ophthalmic care.
Miss Vrizidou graduated in Medicine (Ptychio Iatrikes) from the University of Thrace in 2001 and has since developed extensive experience in ophthalmology within the NHS at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. Alongside her clinical practice, she is actively engaged in research and academic work, with publications in peer-reviewed journals. Her research includes work on inflammatory and retinal conditions such as posterior scleritis, uveitis associated with immune checkpoint inhibitors, and outcomes in age-related macular degeneration, reflecting her particular interest in complex medical retina and uveitis cases.
