Mr Elliot Sorene is a highly-respected and sought after consultant hand, wrist and elbow orthopaedic surgeon in London and Hertfordshire, with expertise in hand surgery, wrist fracture management and wrist pain, alongside sports injuries to the wrist, hand arthritis and hand arthroscopic surgery. He privately practises at The London Clinic, St John & St Elizabeth Hospital, The Wellington Hospital and Spire Bushey Hospital, and has considerable NHS working experience as a consultant at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for over a decade.
Mr Sorene's clinical expertise covers acute upper limb trauma, post-traumatic reconstruction, flexor tendon repair, scaphoid surgery, vascularised bone grafting and carpal instability procedures. He also treats complex wrist conditions such as Kienbock’s disease and performs partial and total wrist replacements. He holds FRCS (Tr & Orth) from the Royal College of Surgeons and was awarded the Churchill Livingstone Medal for best candidate in the FESSH exams in 2005.
He is an examiner for the British Diploma in Hand Surgery (BSSH) and regularly teaches surgical techniques in hand and wrist surgery both in the UK and abroad.
