Dr Gerard Sinovich

Dr Gerard Sinovich is a consultant in pain medicine with extensive expertise in the assessment and treatment of complex pain conditions. He completed specialised training in Pain Management at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, internationally recognised for its leadership in pain research and advanced pain therapies.

Dr Sinovich has particular expertise in managing musculoskeletal and neuropathic pain. His clinical interests include multimodal pain management, patient safety, innovative neuromodulation technologies, and improving access to specialist pain services. He practices at Spire Clare Park Hospital as a Chronic Pain and Anaesthetic Consultant.

His approach is firmly grounded in evidence-based medicine. He offers advanced minimally invasive interventional techniques, including ablative procedures for pain arising from the neck, back, hips and knees. He uses ultrasound and X-ray guidance to enhance accuracy and safety during procedures, and works collaboratively with surgical and medical colleagues to provide comprehensive, integrated care pathways tailored to each individual.

Recognising that chronic pain can profoundly affect quality of life, family relationships and mental wellbeing, Dr Sinovich provides personalised treatment plans that may include interventional pain procedures, optimisation of analgesic medication, physiotherapy, and psychological support. He is known for his compassionate, thorough approach and his ability to assess and manage even complex or longstanding pain presentations.

Dr Sinovich is actively involved in professional education and has presented at numerous national conferences in anaesthesia and pain medicine. He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FFPMRCA) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA), where he also serves as a faculty member.
