Mr Ghulam Abbas is a leading consultant orthopaedic spinal surgeon based in Luton and Harpenden, practising privately at Spire Harpenden Hospital and Cobham Clinic. He specialises in spinal surgery, with particular expertise in the treatment of back pain, neck pain, leg pain and sciatica, as well as performing advanced procedures including discectomy and spinal injections such as epidural injections. Mr Abbas is known for his meticulous approach and commitment to delivering personalised, evidence-based spinal care.
After qualifying in 1996, Mr Abbas completed his higher surgical training in Trauma and Orthopaedics in Yorkshire before undertaking fellowship training in spinal surgery. He further developed his subspecialist expertise at the Nottingham, Leeds and Sheffield spinal units.
