Dr Hasan Benar

Dr Hasan Benar is a London-based dermatologist with more than 15 years of experience in medical dermatology, aesthetic medicine and advanced body treatments. He practises at Dr Elif Clinic, 54 Harley Street. His main areas are cellulite treatment (CelluSmooth®), Endolift® laser skin tightening, anti-wrinkle injections and PLLA biostimulators such as Sculptra® and Juläine™.

**Melasma and hyperpigmentation:** Dr Benar has treated melasma and hyperpigmentation for 15 years and has seen more than 10,000 patients with pigmentation. He uses the Benar Pigment Protocol™, a combination of personalised prescription skincare, a prescribed oral treatment where suitable and in-clinic chemical peels. Stubborn cases may also be treated with Q-switched Nd:YAG laser, Fotona or medical mesotherapy. Because melasma often returns, every patient is followed up every three months with a maintenance plan. He has extensive experience treating pigmentation in darker skin types.

**Cellulite – CelluSmooth®:** Over the past ten years Dr Benar has treated more than 1,000 patients with cellulite. He developed CelluSmooth®, his own registered protocol for medical cellulite subcision. It combines an ultrasound assessment, medical subcision to release the fibrous bands that cause dimpling, and a skin booster, all in one session.

**Endolift®:** Dr Benar has offered Endolift® laser skin tightening since 2019 and has performed more than 3,000 treatments. He is the first author of a 234-patient comparative study published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology (2024; doi:10.1111/jocd.16306) and the founder of the Endoskin® protocol. In February 2025 he was faculty, alongside Prof. Roberto Ruffa, at the EndoliftX® Body Sculpting Masterclass for doctors, announced by Endolift UK.

**Anti-wrinkle injections:** Dr Benar has 15 years of experience with anti-wrinkle injections and has performed more than 10,000 treatments. His GentleGlow™ technique uses a fine 34-gauge needle and bacteriostatic saline dilution for more comfortable injections, with a Plinest® polynucleotide step for the forehead. The aim is a natural, rested look.

**Sculptra® and Juläine™:** Dr Benar performs Sculptra® and Juläine™ poly-L-lactic acid treatments himself, to restore facial volume and improve skin quality gradually. Dr Elif Clinic has performed more than 5,000 PLLA biostimulator treatments, and Dr Benar trains other doctors in PLLA biostimulators.

Dr Benar has attended more than 40 scientific congresses and is a member of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), the Turkish Dermatology Association and the Turkish Medical Association.
