Mr Hassan Mohammed

Mr Hassan Mohammed is a consultant ENT and skull base surgeon based at Nuffield Health Newcastle-upon-Tyne Hospital. He specialises in the skull base, Eustachian tube dysfunction, snoring, tympanic membrane perforation, voice problems, tinnitus, dizziness, and sinus problems.

Mr Mohammed qualified in 2000 from the University of Damascus, and trained in the North East ENT High Surgical Training programme, where he was able to hone his skills in all aspects of ENT surgery. He has work experience in various renowned medical institutions within the UK, including University College London, Oxford, Cambridge, and the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital, where he completed a fellowship in otology and hearing implants. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, where he began specialising in the areas of otology, anterior, and lateral skull base surgery. He completed a further skull base fellowship in Cambridge.

Mr Mohammed has an additional Master’s degree in voice pathology from the University College London, and is an avid researcher, having participated in the publication of research articles and reviews.
