Mr Hugh Mostafid is a highly respected consultant urological surgeon based in Surrey, with clinics at Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital, The Princess Margaret Hospital, Nuffield Health Woking Hospital, The Hampshire Clinic, Mount Alvernia Hospital, and Circle Reading Hospital. His training includes international fellowships at world-renowned centres such as the University of Southern California and UCLA. As one of the first UK urologists to introduce blue light cystoscopy and device-assisted therapies for bladder cancer, he continues to lead on innovation in urological care.
He is currently Chief Investigator or co-applicant on multiple national and international bladder cancer trials, including the NIHR-funded CALIBER study. Mr Mostafid serves as a clinical advisor on bladder cancer to NICE and is a member of the European Association of Urology guidelines panel. He is a founder member and past Chair of Action on Bladder Cancer UK, a national charity dedicated to funding bladder cancer research. He has also authored over 100 scientific publications and is regularly invited to speak at major international conferences.
