Dr Iyad Ismail is a respiratory consultant in Birmingham, who specialises in lung cancer, sleep apnoea and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), alongside cough, shortness of breath and pleural effusion. He privately practises at Spire Little Aston Hospital and Sutton Medical Consulting Centre, while his NHS bases are University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust and Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust, where he is the lung cancer lead.
Dr Ismail graduated in 2000 from the Jordan University of Science and Technology with honours and was awarded a merit scholarship by the United Nations.
