Dr Jaimin Patel

Dr Jaimin Patel is a leading GP (general practitioner) based in London. He specialises in early cancer diagnosis, sports medicine, urgent/emergency care, as well as paediatrics, type 2 diabetes, and medical optimisation. Notably, Dr Patel teaches and appraises other doctors.

Dr Patel consults privately at LIPS Healthcare, Battersea Power Station. With over 25 years of experience, his NHS base is Croydon University Hospital NHS Trust since 2003, and has also served for the South West London Health and Care Partnership, Macmillan Cancer Support, and Prostate Cancer UK.

Dr Patel originally qualified from King’s College London in 1999. He then completed his general practice vocational training in 2003, before going on to obtain Diplomas in both Child Health and Women’s Health from the Royal College of Paediatrics and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, respectively. 

Furthermore, Dr Patel is an esteemed member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and he has also been a clinical champion for Diabetes UK since 2016, focusing on improving diabetes care. As a GP, Dr Patel is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care, ensuring the highest standards of medical attention.

Dr Patel is involved with fundraising for various charities. In September/October 2025 he's raising money for Cancer Research UK by climbing Mount Everest with five other doctors, trekking to Everest Base Camp.
