Mr Jonathan Gill is a highly regarded consultant urologist based in Harrogate, where he practises at The Duchy Hospital. He specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of urological conditions, with particular expertise in urinary tract stones, benign prostatic enlargement, urinary tract infections, blood in the urine (haematuria), foreskin conditions and vasectomy. He also has extensive experience in procedures such as transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) and UroLift for the management of lower urinary tract symptoms secondary to prostate enlargement.
Mr Gill studied Medicine at the University of Liverpool, graduating with MBChB in 2001. Following his graduation, he spent time working at Townsville Hospital in Queensland, Australia, before returning to the UK to undertake his basic surgical and higher specialist training in urology across Yorkshire. He went on to achieve Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Fellowship in Urology, consolidating his expertise in the specialty.
Alongside his general urological practice, Mr Gill has developed a sub-specialist interest in minimally invasive (endoscopic) techniques, particularly for the management of urinary tract stones and benign prostatic enlargement.
