Dr Joseph Azzopardi is a highly regarded consultant in pain medicine and anaesthesia based in London. He is experienced in treating many types of pain, with a particular interest in interventional pain management, cancer pain and symptom control, radiofrequency ablation techniques, neuromodulation, spinal cord stimulation and neuraxial drug delivery.
Dr Azzopardi gained a medical degree from the University of Malta before training in Ireland and later at the prestigious Barts and The London School of Anaesthesia. Keen to offer the best treatment available to patients at home and abroad, he has been on charity missions to Africa for Facing Africa and Project Harar.
As an educator, he has offered his valuable expertise at the Faculty of Pain Medicine at the Royal College of Anaesthetists, where he was an educational supervisor in pain medicine until 2011. Dr Azzopardi holds numerous fellowships, including at the Royal College of Anaesthetists and he is a foundation fellow at the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Royal College of Anaesthetists.

- Not very impressed Late arrival . Numerous calls taken during my appt and texts . Felt very low that day and I came out feeling worse. I’ve written about follow treatment etc but had no contact which in the private sector I find hugely disappointing
