- After more than 50 years of complete hearing loss in my left ear, and often being told nothing could be done, I struggled emotionally and learned to just cope. Mr Manjaly gave me honest guidance, explored every option, and never offered false hope. Thanks to his care and thorough testing, I was fortunate to receive a device that has truly changed my life.
- Dr Joseph Manjaly is an excellent ENT surgeon. The stitching behind my ear was done with great precision and care, leaving little to no visible scarring. Throughout the entire process he was very reassuring and always took the time to answer my questions whenever I needed help or clarification. The surgery itself went very well, and he did an outstanding job. My hearing improved significantly after the operation, and I genuinely feel he helped me a lot. I’m very grateful for his skill, patience,
- I was recommended to go to Joe Manjaly by Profess Martin Birchall widely regarded as one of the world's top ENT experts. I followed this advice and very happy to have done so as the level of skill and care of Joe and his team has been quite exceptional. As well as technical skill of the highest order Joe has been friendly and helpful throughout from initial consultation, to the operation and post op. Therefore I can highly recommend going to Joe anyone who has any problem with their ears.
- My experience was excellent throughout. The condition was diagnosed swiftly and explained clearly, I was able to quickly get an appointment for surgery (which was successful), and the post-op check-ups were similarly informative and pleasant.
- Mr Manjaly performed surgery on my ear to treat a small cholesteatoma that had been recently identified. From beginning to end, he inspired confidence, was very professional, and provided all the correct advice. The surgery he performed was of the highest standard.
- I am really grateful for Dr Joe and the care received at One Welbeck, London. He took the time to listen to my experience of otosclerosis and explained the options available. I had a stapedectomy on my left ear and it has improved my hearing significantly. Thanks Dr Joe!
- Joseph is a caring, passionate, and highly skilled surgeon. I knew I was in safe hands when I first met him during my cochlear implant assessment, and nine months post-operation I am beyond grateful to have been under his care throughout.
- I couldn’t be happier with the care I’ve received from Dr Manjaly and his team. My hearing is better, the sense of fullness is relieved, and my tinnitus has almost completely cleared up.
- Getting the cochlear implant was the best decision I’ve made! Growing up, I’ve had to use hearing aids. At first they were good but in the later years, they flopped me. It was like listening to warbling, radio noises; nothing sounded right. I nearly gave up and accepted that I was going to be deaf for life. However, after being referred to ENT for a cochlear implant (I was surprised because I wasn’t even aware about it) I discussed with Dr Joe Manjaly and the cochlear team about the outcomes of having one, and I did all my research; I decided not to have it because I was scared for multiple reasons. Yet, after two years of struggling with my hearing, I came back and decided I needed it. Doctor Joe Manjaly was kind and assisted me throughout the whole process. The operation wasn’t even painful. You’ll wake up and feel numb but as long as you take your medication that they prescribed you, you’ll breeze through the healing process. Took me a week at most. Then came the day I first wore the processor, a month later. Don’t get me wrong, it sounded bad at first — like a lot of squeaking, and I hated it, but I literally heard every single thing around me that I never thought I could hear in my life. The tap water running, the rain which was mind blowing, the bird singing, the tap of keyboard, the footsteps. It was like a totally new world! And eventually after numerous fine tuning appointments, the sounds got even better to the point where I literally can’t live without it. It even helps me to hear people without lip reading them! I still wear hearing aids on the other ear to balance it out, but honestly, cochlear implant is like an addiction! All thanks to Dr Joe Manjaly. Definitely recommend getting a cochlear for anyone struggling to hear. One thing to note if you get a headache, reduce the magnet. You’ll thank me. TL,DR: Best decision I’ve made. Changed my life. Dr Joe Manjaly helped me with everything. I can now hear everything that I never thought I could.
- Excellent from start to finish. Superb medical care and friendly and reassuring 'bedside' manner.
