Mr Kelvin Lau is one of London's leading consultant thoracic and cardiothoracic surgeons. Working at some of London's finest clinics and hospitals, including the London Clinic and St Bartholomew's Hospital, he is at the forefront of his field utilising some of the most cutting edge technology available.
He is the first medical professional in Europe to use a new and innovative software that promises to revolutionise the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer by allowing early detection of cancer in the lungs in the harder to see areas. His clinical interests include lung cancer, lung nodules, pleural effusion, and navigation bronchoscopy.

- Dr Lau looked after me for 2 EBUS procedures to obtain biopsy of my lung mass , very warm and welcoming and knowledgable about the procedure and whole process and I was very well looked after on the day and each tole o have been

- Mr Lau is a genuinely kind and caring doctor. From my consultation to discuss a robotic lung biopsy to the day itself, he gave me all the time I needed and showed genuine care and understanding. I went on to have my biopsy at the Cleveland and Mr Lau made sure to come and have a chat before the biopsy and he saw me twice after my biopsy to check on me. I wouldn’t hesitate to return to him if needed and trust him implicitly. The Cleveland is also an excellent hospital; you’re in the best hands!
