Mr Khalid Khan

Mr Khalid Khan is a highly experienced consultant general and colorectal surgeon based in West Yorkshire, offering private consultations at Spire Dewsbury Clinic and Spire Elland Hospital. He specialises in conditions affecting the colon, rectum and anus, with particular expertise in colonoscopy, haemorrhoids, anal fissures, anal fistulae, pilonidal sinus disease, anal skin tags, surgery for common lumps and bumps, and hernia repair surgery. He provides expert assessment for patients presenting with symptoms such as rectal bleeding, anal pain, changes in bowel habit and abdominal discomfort, as well as conditions including perianal skin tags, warts and rectal prolapse. Alongside his private practice, Mr Khan works as an NHS consultant colorectal surgeon, where he regularly undertakes major bowel surgery for both benign and malignant disease. His practice is evidence based, with a strong emphasis on clear explanations and shared decision making. Mr Khan completed his postgraduate surgical training in Pakistan, achieving Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS), before undertaking advanced training in the UK and achieving Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS). He subsequently completed specialist colorectal fellowship training at Hull University Teaching Hospitals.
