Mr Kieran Power is a highly skilled consultant plastic reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon, based in several leading London clinics. His special interests include breast reconstruction, aesthetic surgery, skin cancer, and reconstructive surgery for other cancers including colorectal cancer, gynaecological cancer, head and neck cancer and sarcoma.
Mr Power trained partly in Ireland, before completing a fellowship in microvascular surgery at the Royal Marsden. He was then awarded a scholarship with the Royal College of Surgeons, completing his training at the Melanoma Institute Australia. Mr Power is published in numerous peer-reviewed articles and has presented both nationally and internationally.
He has been commended for his research and received the John Calder Medal from the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, thanks to his work on wound healing research. He is actively involved in education, currently tutoring for MSc oncoplastic breast surgery at UEA. He has recently been awarded a Master of Aesthetic Surgery with distinction by Queen Mary University of London.
